Irony

X: I desire things in life, I have dreams. The only way I can live my life is if I become independent, of my parents, of this fuckin' society. The irony is that in the process of becoming independent I have to sacrifice the very things I covet and start all over again...

Isn't this the cry of the timid echoing down the centuries, frightened to give up the comfort and familiarity of what he knows for the uncertainty of a new life? If you are afraid perhaps you shouldn't try because you will need all your determination, and none of your regret to succeed in a new life. This is just my dilemma :) Love, Alec xx

Dear Awais Aftab,

What do u call independence? and independence from your parents?? They are your roots. You draw nourishment to live all throughout your life even when they may not be in this world physically.

Dear friend, to understand them and accept their limitations, limitations of their views and reasons for same, and thus not getting disturbed, will lead you to independence and also respect them.

May God bless you.
