X: I saw this poem on net; thought i'd share it with you.

I said goodbye to church ceilings
and never thought I’d return,
until I met you.*

Y: :) and how would you write it?

X: The poem is already perfect, but let me try

I bade farewell
to the mosque cleric
and never thought i'd return
until i met you
and called him to bind us together
with the divine words

Y: Hahaha!

* The poem is by Noah the Great, taken from his blog:

Thanks for the recognition. I'll be sure to read a lot of your work, when I get back to Jersey. I'm in Canada until the second, then New Hampshire until the sixth, and finally Florida until the twenty-ninth if all goes as planned.
