Mona Lisa's Smile Decoded

In late 2005, Dutch researchers from the University of Amsterdam ran the image of Mona Lisa through an "emotion recognition" computer software developed in collaboration with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The software found the smile to be 83% happy, 9% disgusted, 6% fearful, 2% angry, less than 1% neutral, and 0% surprised.

hehe.. interesting...
I, for one, never really find her smile charming, neither do i find her pretty. I dont know whats the big deal.

... and i refuse to believe that i do not have an artistic sense. :)

... but then again, i have always been the rebel..hehe

Lolz. Well, i don't find Mona Lisa pretty as well, or very aesthetically pleasing, but i do find her smile enigmatic and captivating. :)

Well...I do find it very interesting when I try to understand her smile. Im unable to make out her expression. I mean what is she trying to say? Is she happy or sad? Sometimes I feel a tinge of sarcasm in her smile and sometimes I feel her like a battered woman...like she has been suffering a great deal and now shes so much used to it that it doesnt bother her anymore and she smiles.

And I think a more important thing about her is Leonardo himself. To produce that kind of a smile on a piece of paper is surely a genius's work. Where and how much and which colour to be put so that an expression such as hers is produced. I think an ordinary smile is difficult to put on a paper perfectly, let alone a Mona Lisa smile.

and its not just her smile. Her eyes, her hands watched deeply and separately and then combinely will surely give one a tough time to comprehend

smile is more than maths my brother and specially when its on a feminine face...

In my belief, nature in all its existence can't be bounded by mathematics.
