i have noticed it and that is how i purchase my tooth brush.
as a female. choosy abt the color, shape [contours], size[vital] and softness of bristles[feel] and of course how chic it looks...
lol. i get carried away with this little piece of what i call POSSESSION... obviously a toothbrush speaks for your persona... it does!!!
Yeah, I've noticed. I always thought it was a very obvious marketing tactic. A good one too...why have a right-handed pencil when you're a leftie? And voila, a new target audience for you to rob. :>

i like mine hi-tech :D !!! and hi-tech stuff is usually male tooth brushes... lol!
